Davidās primary focus in his expansive career in illustration is in the childrenās industry, mainly for toy companies and publishing. He has illustrated a childrenās book and is now working as a designer in the giftware industry.
Growing up in an artistic environment, Galchutt can fondly remember the moment he decided to become an artist one day in kindergarten when drawing trees that were not quite like any of the other childrenās.
He is comfortable working with both watercolour and oils, creating a varied collection of animal and human subjects full of fine detail that keeps the viewerās attention for extended periods of time, regardless of their age.
